“Login” doesn’t mean
logging in to Trezor.

There is no Trezor cloud account holding your wallet credentials. Trezor Login describes connecting your physical hardware wallet to a compatible interface—usually Trezor Suite.

Your device holds your private keys. Suite is the window into your accounts; it cannot reveal or export those keys. Access requires your physical device and its PIN.

Six steps. No shortcuts.

The legitimate process is simple—and keeps sensitive actions on your device.

01

Start at the official site

Type trezor.io yourself or open a bookmark you have already verified. Avoid links from unsolicited messages, ads, or search results.

02

Connect your device

Connect your Trezor with a data-capable USB cable. Use Bluetooth only if your specific supported device and official Suite setup offer it.

03

Open Trezor Suite

Launch the official desktop app or visit the official Suite web app. Confirm the address before allowing the site to connect.

04

Enter your PIN on-device

Follow the scrambled keypad shown on your Trezor screen. Never type your device PIN into a website or computer prompt.

05

Use your passphrase if enabled

Enter your optional passphrase only when you intentionally use a passphrase-protected wallet. It is separate from your recovery backup.

06

Review and continue

Your accounts appear in Suite when the device is unlocked. Check the device screen and confirm every transaction there before approving.

!
Your recovery seed is never part of login.

Trezor will never ask for your 12-, 20-, or 24-word recovery backup to sign in, connect Suite, or “verify” your wallet. Anyone asking for it is trying to steal your funds. Only use it to recover a wallet when appropriate, following official instructions.

Keys stay yours.
Even online.

Traditional accounts rely on passwords that can be phished, reset, or exposed. Hardware authentication changes the equation: your private keys are generated and kept on the device, not sent to a website.

⌑

Possession matters

Access starts with the physical device—not an email address or password stored on a server.

◎

Keys stay offline

Your device can sign a request without exposing the private keys that authorize it.

✓

You approve actions

Read transaction details on your Trezor screen. Only confirm what you recognize and intend.

BEYOND YOUR WALLET

Supported Trezor devices can also provide second-factor authentication for compatible services. Availability depends on your device and the service; check official documentation for current FIDO/U2F support.

Can’t connect?

Start with the simple checks. Your recovery words are never a troubleshooting step.

01

Device not recognized

Try another USB port and a cable that supports data. Reconnect the device and check that it is unlocked.

02

Suite cannot connect

Update your browser, close other wallet apps, and temporarily disable extensions that may interfere with device access.

03

Firmware needs attention

Use the official Suite prompts to review a firmware update. Read the on-device confirmation carefully before proceeding.

04

Still having trouble?

Restart Suite and your browser, then visit official Trezor Support. Never share your recovery words with support.

✓

Trust the device.
Not the message.

When in doubt, stop. Navigate to the official site yourself, check what appears on your hardware screen, and never disclose your recovery seed.
